This page includes articles, books, videos, movies, podcasts, and additional webinars/training modules that count toward required CASA volunteer continuing education hours! 

CASA volunteers: If you have any questions or would like to participate in a community event that may qualify as continuing education, please contact your Advocate Supervisor.

Training Type

Credit Breakdown

1 hour per-article completed.

Please write one summary (approx. 125 words) for each article read.*

 

*All continuing education written summaries can be submitted in Optima or emailed to your Advocate Supervisor!

4 hours max. (30 mins for every 50 pages completed).

 

Please write one overall summary (approx. 250 words) of what you have read.

Movies/television shows: 2 hours max.

 

Online videos/short films: 1 hour max.

 

Please write one summary (approx. 250 words) for each movie watched, and one summary (approx. 125 words) for each television show, video, or short film watched. 

1 hour max.

Please write one summary (approx. 125 words) for each podcast listened to. 

1 hour max.

​

Please write one summary (approx. 125 words) for each webinar watched.

1 hour max.

​

Please write one summary (approx. 125 words) for each training module used.
