MARINETTE COUNTY CASA PROGRAM

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County partnered with Marinette County to establish a CASA program in 2016.

Each volunteer is required to participated in a 30-hour pre-service training program before being sworn in by the Honorable Jane M. Sequin of the Marinette County Circuit Court. CASA volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children who are under the legal protection of the court system until the case is closed and they have found a safe, nurturing and permanent home. They visit with the child regularly and submit a monthly report to the judge on the safety and well-being of the child to help the judge make important decisions about the child's future.

Together, we are making a difference in the lives of children in the most need!
